Welcome to my blog on effective foreign language teaching!
My intention is to publish some language teaching articles that will become permanent web pages on this very same site. All the titles on the left-hand menu have an introductory page so that you will get to know my line of thinking.
In particular these articles are meant for those foreign language teachers
- who are struggling in turning their lessons into more learner-oriented ones and who might be a bit afraid how to do it safely and
- who want to be more effective in applying communicative language teaching principles.
I hope to be able to set you free from the burdens of the old habits, ease your work as a whole and advise you how to have more relaxing and enjoyable lessons.
I will present a basic textbook- based model lesson with a flexible strucuture that I have been using for three decades because it is easy and safe for everybody. In addition I will little by little deal with all language teaching areas/titles on the left-hand menu.
We learn best by doing and talking to others in groups!
