I still remember the fear when I decided I have to change the way I’m teaching English! What if I make a fool of myself? What if I become a laughing stock in the school and in front of the parents?
Finally I had the guts to make the changes in 1986 and have never had any regrets about them. This site is about sharing those experiences and about the things I have learnt in training teachers over a period of 40 years.

Now that I think back to my own years in learning English in the 1970s, it is no wonder I found them rather useless and boring. Still, I started my career applying mostly the same principles that my own teacher had been using because I knew of nothing better.
